Intention is to purchase an inductively coupled plasma optical emissions spectrometer for AAFC’s Atlantic Analytical Chemistry Lab at Charlottetown Research and Development Centre that is capable of quantitative elemental analysis of agricultural samples. The unit must be able to analyze, soil, water and plant nitric acid digests and be able to detect K, P, Ca, Al, Mg, Na, Mn, Fe, Cu, B and Zn. The analyzer must have an autosampler.
