With this Negotiated Request for Proposals (“NRFP”), the Canadian Museum for Human Rights (“CMHR”) is soliciting proposals from qualified providers to supply, deploy, and support a new data centre infrastructure which includes servers, storage, and virtualization and solutions. The refreshed infrastructure must deliver improved performance, scalability, resilience, and cost-effectiveness, while aligning the CMHR’s sustainability and security objectives.
Proposals submitted in response to this NRFP must clearly reflect these objectives.

Summary
The CMHR is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to supply, deploy, and support a new data centre infrastructure which includes servers, storage, and virtualization solutions. The refreshed infrastructure must deliver improved performance, scalability, resilience, and cost-effectiveness, while aligning with our sustainability and security objectives.
Objectives
Replace aging servers and storage with modern, scalable systems.
Enhance availability, disaster recovery, and data protection.
Reduce operational risk, complexity, and technical debt.
Support at least 7% annual growth in compute capacity and 10% annual growth in storage capacity over the next 5-7 years without requiring major infrastructure replacement.
Align with security, compliance, and sustainability goals.
