NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT

The Department of National Defence has a requirement for the disassembly and removal of an existing storage structure, as well as the supply and installation of a new storage structure as detailed below. The delivery and installation completion is requested at the Shirleys Bay Campus (3701 Carling Ave.) in Ottawa, Ontario by 2026-03-31.
Specifications for new storage structure:
The new storage facility must be composed of 40-foot ISO (International Organization for Standardization) shipping containers supporting a double truss structure made of hot-dip galvanized steel and covered with a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) membrane. The two (2) 40-foot ISO containers are supplied by DND and are already stored at Building 84, ready to be positioned by the Contractor to support the new storage structure. The nominal dimensions required for the storage structure are 50-feet wide x 40-feet long x 25-feet high (at peak).
The Crown retains the rights to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
