Description
• The contractor must provide all equipment, labour, and supervision necessary to service the heating units/systems listed in Annex A1. • The contractor must supply licensed journeyman/technician/mechanics as necessary for the required inspection, service, repair and/or replace all HVAC and Refrigeration equipment as listed in Annex A or install of new equipment as identified by the Project Authority or Designate. Licensing must be applicable to the province of Saskatchewan. Copies of licensing may be requested for personnel going on site. • The required inspection includes annual leak test, service logs, decommissioning, and any other related duties to ensure RPC remains compliant with Federal Halocarbon Regulations and associated reports as per the Federal Halocarbon regulations and Correctional service of Canada’s policy on the management of Halocarbon’s CD 318-4. (see Annex A4). Such work must be performed in accordance with applicable legislation and regulations. Copies of required certification may be requested. The documentation of service/maintenance must be provided to the project authority within four (4) weeks of completion. • The contractor must carry out a total preventative maintenance check by inspecting, servicing, repairing and/or replacing components as required. (This will be accomplished with prior approval of the project authority). The 72 units described in Annex A1 will be serviced in the appropriate seasons as named in Annex A1. See Annex A2 spring (cooling season) and Annex A3 fall (heating season) for a detailed check list. Spring checks must be completed in the month of April. Fall checks must be completed in the month of October. Based on the spring and fall checks, contractor will supply a recommended repair list to the project authority for review and approval. Once approved, repairs will be completed at the applicable technician rate and parts/material cost. • The Contractor must replace all filters on the units described in the Annex A1 – A3 during the months of, February, April, June, July, August, September, October and December, unless otherwise specified by the Project Authority. • The contractor must provide qualified technician(s) as required (24-hour service). Response time must be within two hours for emergency repairs as determined by the Project Authority or Designate. • The Contractor's representative/technician must have numbered work orders which will be signed by the Project Authority or designate when the work has been completed. A copy of the work order is to be left with the Project authority or designate. The contractor will also supply any/all additional reports required, to the project authority based on existing legislation. i.e., Federal Halocarbon regulations. • Contractor must separately invoice any work and/or repairs done to units 63 – 67 under Kitchen Refrigeration Equipment in Annex A1 of the Statement of Work. These invoices will be addressed to the Chief, Food Services or Designate at the Regional Psychiatric Centre • Parts and material, must be supplied by the Contractor, at the agreed upon rate as per the basis of payment, pending approval by the Project Authority • All parts and material must meet all specifications as recommended by the manufacturer and determined by the Contractor. • Unless stipulated otherwise, filter media must be cardboard, disposable, pleated type construction. Quality must be minimum MERV 13. AAF MEGApleat M13 or equivalent filter media. • The contractor must have the required equipment and personnel to provide this service immediately after contract award.
